The Aux Dog Theatre Nob Hill's Apprentice Program (ADAP)! ADAP is a unique, hands-on learning experience taught by theatre professionals. Apprentices work with teaching and technical artists in all aspects of the theatrical process. They will learn to apply their workshop instruction to a final performance piece. Apprentices will assume positions as actors, directors, light & sound technicians and costume designers, as well as front-of-house staff. This is a real apprentice-run production. The Apprentice Program is the only one of its kind in Albuquerque, providing students actual work experience and credit on a professional theatrical production.

Learn about ADAP direct from Daniel K. Tabeling & Scott Shuster

During Phase 1 - Preparation, Apprentices will receive an overview of theatre departments, including directing, acting, design, lighting, set, sound, costume and stage management.

During Phase 2 - Hands-on Experience, apprentices will be assigned positions on the professional production of an Aux Dog Theatre main stage show.
